Title of Goods;

i) Title of the “Goods” do not pass to the Customer until paid for in full & remain the property of Steelcraft Gates Ltd.

Applicable Law;

i) The Order shall be considered a contract made in England, shall be governed in all aspects by the Law of England & the parties agree to submit the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Point of Sale;

i) Once we have agreed in writing exactly what we are selling, the customer/s read through the Sales Form & sign in acceptance & a deposit of between £250.00 is taken to secure the order and an interim of 50% once fabrication begins.

We understand that sometimes a decision may not be thought through or circumstances change for the worse & that is why we offer a “14 day cooling off period”. Within this time-frame should our customers change their minds or their circumstances alter, they are entitled to the full deposit being refunded with no questions asked.

ii) All lead times are approximate & whilst we always try to complete all works within a time-frame, we cannot guarantee exact dates.

Site Installation;

i) Steelcraft Gates Ltd. cannot be held responsible for the structural integrity of any Walls, Piers or such-like when installing Gates & other associated Ironwork unless constructed by an approved contractor of our own naming. If unforeseen circumstances arise & extra fitting costs are incurred it will be passed to you, the customer.

ii) Regarding the setting out of Steel Posts to be concreted in for Gates & Railings, they would be shown to the customer as being level & upright prior to leaving site. If anything untoward should happen in between leaving site & coming back to install the finished products, Steelcraft Gates Ltd. cannot be held responsible.

iii) When excavating holes or trenches on a customer’s premises & any amenity services are damaged, Steelcraft Gates Ltd. cannot be held responsible if not informed beforehand.

iv) If a job involves Gate Automation / Access Control, it will be specified on the order whether Steelcraft Gates Ltd. have included for all necessary Ground-Works, Cabling, Ducting, termination to a Rotary Isolator etc. or whether it is the customer’s responsibility to do so by following our instructions. If it is the latter & our Gate Automation Technician cannot commission the electrics due to the work not being done, it may result in extra costs incurred & passed on to the customer.

v) We are responsible for all Health & Safety legislation when installing on customer premises & covered with our own insurance.

vi) Any complaints towards the quality of our Installed Work or our Installation Team/s should be brought to the companies attention within 48 hours & a full investigation would take place.

Delivery;

i) On delivery only (not installed orders), it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient personnel is on-site to lift the goods from the vehicle as we cannot guarantee any lifting equipment will be available to unload. Any complaints towards the quality of our Products should be brought to the company’s attention within 48 hours & a full investigation would take place.

This does not include for any minor Paintwork damaged in transit as this does tend to happen & touch-up Paint for such as this is included with every delivery.

**Steelcraft Gates Ltd. reserves the right to photograph any works undertaken to use for publicity / marketing purposes whilst maintaining the anonymity of the customer’s name & address**
